Underride Protection

Seven Hills Engineering applies 22 years of experience in the trucking industry to its engineering projects. We have designed and tested FMVSS 223 compliant rear underride guards for semi trailers and designed guards for straight trucks (busses, tow trucks, etc.). We have designed semi trailer SIDE guards which have undergone fully instrumented crash tests with anthropomorphic dummies, and have published on the subject. Seven Hills Engineering maintains a large library of technical data and literature on the subject of heavy vehicle underride.
